Traveling with family, planning an extended stay, or marking a special occasion in Beirut usually means outgrowing a standard hotel room. Phoenicia Beirut offers three premium categories built for exactly that: the Phoenicia Residence suites, the Presidential Suite, and the Penthouse. Each is set up differently, so this guide breaks down the space, layout and inclusions of each so you can work out which one fits your trip.

What Sets a Premium Stay Apart at Phoenicia Beirut

All three categories go beyond a standard room with a dedicated living and dining area, a kitchenette, and multiple bathrooms rather than just one. They also share access to core hotel facilities: complimentary Wi-Fi, and access to the hotel’s indoor pool and gym is included with both the Residence suites and the Presidential Suite. Where they differ is in scale and the specific extras layered on top, from butler service to a private sauna.

Penthouse vs Presidential Suite vs Residence Suites: Key Differences

The Penthouse sits within the Phoenicia Residence and is the largest of the three, at 790 square metres. It is a two-bedroom suite duplex, and its feature list includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms, three walk-in closets, a salon, a dining room, a kitchenette and a balcony, along with a Jacuzzi, a fireplace, a library and a sauna.

The Presidential Suite is 346 square metres, built around two master bedrooms rather than a full multi-room floor plan. It includes a large living room, a large dining room, balconies, separated dressing areas, a kitchenette, a guest bathroom, and butler service. Its bathrooms include a Jacuzzi and sauna, and the suite is fitted with a 50 inch TV, a media hub and a home theatre setup.

The Residence suites are organized by bedroom count. One-bedroom suites (Limbara, Serana, Agata) run from 111 to 154 square metres. Two-bedroom suites (Pietra, Kinawa, Tala) run from 191 to 267 square metres. Three-bedroom suites (Paloma and Aurora) are the largest standard Residence option at 260 and 288 square metres, each with four bathrooms. All Residence suites include a salon, dining room, kitchenette, walk-in closets and a balcony.

Who Each Option Suits

  • Families needing multiple bedrooms under one roof: the three-bedroom Residence suites, Paloma or Aurora, since both include four bathrooms and a full kitchenette.
  • Couples or smaller groups who want a single premium suite with dedicated service: the Presidential Suite, built around two master bedrooms with butler service.
  • Special occasions, milestone stays, or larger multi-generational groups wanting the most space and private amenities: the Penthouse, with its library, sauna, fireplace and Jacuzzi.
  • Extended stays where a kitchenette and residential-style privacy matter more than hotel-style turndown service: any of the Residence suites, one, two or three bedroom depending on group size.

What’s Included at Each Level

Residence suites: complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary access to the indoor pool and gym, housekeeping once per day, 24-hour operator and reception assistance, 24-hour room service, and 24-hour laundry and dry cleaning at an additional charge. Airport pickup and on-site parking are also available at an additional charge.

Presidential Suite: complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, 24-hour access to the fitness room, complimentary access to both the indoor and outdoor pools, two complimentary bottles of mineral water, an iron and ironing board, and butler service. An extra bed, airport pickup and on-site parking are available at an additional charge.

Penthouse: complimentary Wi-Fi and satellite channels, complimentary access to the indoor pool and gym, daily housekeeping, 24-hour operator, reception and bell or valet service, 24-hour room service, 24-hour laundry and dry cleaning, and a complimentary scheduled shuttle to the airport and to downtown Beirut.

How to Decide Which Stay Fits Your Trip

Start with how many bedrooms you actually need under one roof. If it is three or more, the Paloma or Aurora Residence suite covers that at a lower square footage than the Penthouse. If your priority is one very well-appointed suite for a couple or a small family, with dedicated butler service and home entertainment built in, the Presidential Suite is the more fitted option. If the occasion calls for the most space and the widest set of in-suite extras such as a private sauna, library and fireplace, the Penthouse is the top-tier choice.
