A Taste of France at Mosaic Restaurant
For the very first time at Phoenicia Hotel, the Good France ‘Goût de France’ event took place in March 2019 at Mosaic Restaurant. This culinary initiative, organized by Chef Alain Ducasse in 2015, aims to promote the authentic French cuisine on an international scale. The opening ceremony was held on Thursday March 21 at Mosaic Restaurant under the patronage of His Excellency Bruno Foucher, Ambassador of France to Lebanon. On this occasion, Executive Chef Franck Page, Executive Pastry Chef Laurent Allereau and their teams have paid tribute to the French gastronomy by presenting an all-French buffet featuring traditional dishes such as the Onion Soup, Savoyard Tartiflette, Gratin Dauphinois, Ratatouille and many other classics from various French regions. To this great range was added famous cheeses like like Rocamadour and Camembert, desserts like Paris Brest and Fraisier and finally an authentic French wine selection, with an accordionist who accompanied the guests throughout the evening.
For the rest of week and until March 26, the restaurant presented its classic buffet in addition to a large selection of French dishes.
