BEIRUT IS ABUZZ WITH TALK OF ITS HOT NEW ITALIAN NEIGHBOUR
Beirut is abuzz with talk of its hot new Italian neighbour
When a hot new neighbour arrives in town, word soon gets around. Such was the buzz created by the arrival of Rossini, Beirut’s newest Italian neighbour, which celebrated its official opening in a packed evening on Thursday, November 29. Media representatives, influencers and food lovers were among the crowd that gathered to sample Rossini’s fresh and cheeky Italian charm.
This was no ordinary launch party. Guests were greeted by the sight of an iconic Italian vespa at the entrance, perfect for playful posing for wall of fame paparazzi shots. Inside the ambiance was set with a live saxophone player. One particular guest caused a huge stir on the night. Carrying a strategically placed sign that read “I stripped for pizza. What would you do?” a living Michelangelo statue mingled with guests as they enjoyed the evening.
Bringing a fresh Italian vibe to the city, Rossini Osteria e Caffè offers a carefully crafted menu of authentic Italian classics, freshly prepared by Italian Chef Mauro Giordano, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients. Complementing the food is a tempting selection of Italian beverages, including authentic Italian coffee, which can be enjoyed with a daily selection of freshly baked patisserie delights. At the grand opening party, guests had a full-on flavour experience, sampling Rossini’s menu from the live cooking stations inside and outside on the terrace of Italian specialties including risotto, pasta, pizza and more. As they departed with gifts of premium olive oil, Rossini’s new clientele carried with them a memento of an unforgettably tasty evening that is sure to inspire them to return time and again.
With an entrance of its own at Phoenicia Hotel, Rossini is now welcoming guests from morning through to midnight in its casual, contemporary decor with a playful take on iconic Italian and Lebanese motifs. This makes Rossini the perfect spot to take time out of your day, whether to indulge in a delicious coffee and gelato on the lively terrace, entertain business partners, kick back with after-work drinks or enjoy a gratifying dinner.
